"You have been told, O mortal, what is good, and what the Lord requires of you: Only to do justice and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God." — Micah 6:8
History of the Archdiocese
Founded in 1845 to serve the growing immigrant populations of the Eastern seaboard, the Westport Archdiocese has grown from a small collection of mission churches to a vibrant community of over 120 parishes, 40 schools, and numerous charitable organizations.
Our region is home to the historic Cathedral of the Epiphany, a landmark of faith and architecture that has stood as a beacon for over a century.
